Every guest takes the front seat of an Extra 330 and flies the aircraft.

We host groups of 7 to 125 guests per day. Teams rotate through the flight line in small waves while everyone else spectates from the hangar, which has a lounge, games, pool tables and a 120-foot aviation timeline. Before founding Sky Combat Ace in 2011, Tex flew the F-16 Fighting Falcon for the U.S. Air Force: over 1,000 hours in the jet, including more than 300 combat hours in hostile airspace. He also piloted Predator and Reaper missions over Iraq and Afghanistan. Tex is available as a speaker for your event, bringing fighter-pilot lessons on leadership, decision-making under pressure and building elite teams straight to your group.

The hangar is the venue, not just the meeting point

Planners usually have to book the activity and the room separately. Here they are the same address. The hangar reconfigures around the event, so a single day can hold a stage, a keynote, a product reveal and the flight line without anyone getting back on a bus.

Scoring options let guests compare their performance against their peers, so the day ends with a leaderboard rather than a polite round of applause. Three to four on-board HD and 4K cameras record every flight, including the audio between guest and pilot and the radio traffic between aircraft. 2. Strip Scavenger Hunt

Guided and app-based hunts turn the Strip into a puzzle course, with mixed teams racing between landmarks solving clues. Scales from 6 to 60 or more, and it quietly forces the quiet people and the loud people onto the same side, which is the entire point of team building.

3. Rival Escape Rooms

Vegas has some of the most elaborate escape rooms in the country. Split into two rooms, race the clock, compare times at dinner. Nothing exposes who your real project managers are faster than 15 minutes left on the clock.

4. Go-Kart Grand Prix

Indoor electric karting with live timing boards. Run qualifying and a final, project the standings, and watch the org chart reorganize itself by lap time. Cheap enough to run heats all afternoon for a big team.

5. Topgolf Bay Takeover

Climate-controlled bays, automatic scoring, food and drinks at the tee. Works for mixed skill levels and mixed enthusiasm levels. The colleague who "doesn't do activities" will still hit ten balls and stay for the nachos.

Sky Combat Ace, North Las Vegas

Your team operates the vehicle. Every guest flies an Extra 330 stunt plane from the front seat with a veteran pilot behind them, under FAA-certified instruction. No experience or license required, and a 20-minute ground briefing covers everything.

Dream Racing, Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Private track sessions in exotic and GT race cars with an instructor in the passenger seat. A fleet of 38 or more cars, an elevated terrace overlooking the track, and private corporate packages for groups.

Price: ride-alongs from $99, driving experiences from $199. Location: 7000 Las Vegas Blvd North.

Best for: large groups that need a low entry price per head and a full-day track takeover. They run a dedicated group sales line and publish a corporate brochure.

SPEEDVEGAS, south Strip

A 1.3-mile purpose-built circuit 15 minutes south of the Strip, with supercars, go-karts and off-road trucks on one site. Every drive includes a classroom briefing and one-on-one coaching from an instructor. Live timing feeds a leaderboard.

Price: supercar packages roughly $299-$599 for five laps, karting cheaper. Days: open seven days, 9am to 5pm.

Best for: mixed-budget teams and mid-week dates, since you can put some of the group in karts and some in a Ferrari on the same afternoon.

The short version: if cost per head is the deciding constraint, the racetracks win. If the goal is an experience your team could not buy for themselves and would not stop talking about, flying the aircraft yourself is the one that clears the bar. Driving experiences put a professional in the seat next to you on a closed circuit. A Sky Combat Ace mission puts your team in command of an aerobatic aircraft over the Mojave, and gives them a scoreboard and cockpit footage to argue about afterward.

One practical note: SCA flies Thursday to Monday, so a Tuesday or Wednesday offsite needs one of the other two, or a date change. Lock the flight date before the room block.

Groups run in waves across the day rather than all at once, which is why large events are built around a full-day agenda: some of the team is in the air, some is at the keynote or the catering, and everyone rotates. A dedicated coordinator builds the run of show so nobody is standing around.

How much do Las Vegas team building activities cost per person?

From the published prices in this guide: roughly $100-$150 per person for kayak tours and shooting packages, less for karting and scavenger hunts, and $599-$1,999 for individual flight experiences, with corporate packages quoted by group size. Two reasons.
