About Zack "Slayer" Morrison
Zack “Slayer” Morrison became addicted to aviation at the age of seven, after flying in a small plane for the first time. When he graduated from high school, Slayer enrolled in Colorado Aerotech where he received his training to become an aircraft mechanic and received his Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license in November of 1999. Slayer spent the next ten years working in an engine overhaul shop where he gained many specialized skills and began test flying brand new engines, as well as ferrying aircraft across the country.
Slayer moved to Las Vegas in 2015 and became the Director of Maintenance for Sky Combat Ace. It soon became evident that he didn’t just want to maintain the Extra, he wanted to fly them! Slayer decided it was time to get his commercial license and Certified Flight Instructor certificate. The rest as they say is history and Slayer has been happily ripping up the skies ever since.
