EAA Airventure Oshkosh

Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend
Hosted in June 2024, the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend is truly unique. It is a gathering of warbirds like no other — a remarkable display in honor of World War II. World War II buffs can witness the precision of these intricately designed aircraft up close. Shows have featured FIFI, one of only two flying B-29 Boeing Superfortresses in the world, and a beautifully coordinated performance by the World War II Airborne Demonstration Team.
The National Championship Air Races and Air Show
Dates for the National Championship Air Races and Air Show are still to be determined. This momentous event has no shortage of acrobatic aerial displays; however, the main event spectators flock to is the racing. Seven classes of aircraft go head-to-head on a racecourse in the clouds. All SCA flights are instructional in nature conducted by certified flight instructors in accordance with federal aviation regulations under 14 CFR Part 61 of the United States Code. Instruction will be provided during ground and flight portions for all flights.
