Waco Hoover Dam Tour

Long for the glory days of aviation?  Then come fly the Waco YMF-5C Classic open cockpit biplane!

Built in 2001, but from the same design as the 1938 original, this aircraft has been described as "art in the sky" and makes for the ideal sightseeing platform as you tour the sights of the magnificent Hoover Dam.

The spacious front bench seat can accommodate you, and if you desire, one other special passenger, as the pilot in the back seat acts as your own personal tour guide over the city.  Not only will you be flying a piece of history, you will be the Hoover Dam from a vantage point that few can imagine.

Our 45 minute tour starts as we takeoff from Henderson Executive airport and head east over Dutchman's Pass to fly over the historic town of Boulder City, which came into existence due to its close proximity to the Hoover Dam construction site.

Take in the views as we circle over Black Canyon and the Hoover Dam itself, still a marvel of construction, named one of the Seven Wonders of the Indusrial World.  From there, we turn Northwest to fly over the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, all the while admiring the unique scenery of the Mojave desert. 

As we transition on the south side of Las Vegas, you will have an unforgettable view of the Las Vegas Strip, with a beautiful backdrop of Red Rock State Park and Mount Charleston in the distance.  For an extra bit of romance, ask for one of our sunset tours and watch the Las Vegas skyline come alive!

For an additional $99, we can add aerobatics to you adventure, which will include, aileron rolls, barrel rolls and loops!

All too soon the tour is over, but your memories will last a lifetime.  All flights feature an in-flight high definition video system that makes for a wonderful souvenir to show your friends.
